What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is complimentary parking next to the Norris conference center. IMPORTANT NOTE – For your convenience, we encourage you to park in the garage that is attached to the Norris Centers location (paralleling Beltway 8). You will see signs with the Norris name and logo directing you to the correct floors to park. Please note that a number of parking spaces are reserved for other tenants of the complex and have “reserved” signs identifying these spaces. There is plenty of parking, so please avoid parking in these reserved spots.

What can I bring into the event?

100 Black Men, 100 Stories: “Texas Stories” Book Forum @ Brazos Bookstore

100 Black Men of Metropolitan Houston, Intellect U Well, Brazos Bookstore and New Books Network are partnering to host the first “100 Black Men, 100 Stories” book forum.

The topic will be “Texas Stories” featuring books by writers that focus on the African-American experience in Texas.

There will be a discussion and Q & A – authors will also sign purchased copies of their books.

A percentage of any proceeds will go towards the 2018 Next Chapter: A College Tour Experience bus tour for local Houston students.

The event is free but there will be limited ticket availability, so register through early to reserve your spot!
